When one thinks of Florida, alligators are one of the first animals that comes to mind. But Florida has many other species, including some non-naitve invasive species. The current numbers of reptiles represent a snapshot in time though as scientist discover new native species and more non-native invasive species could become established. 

Some of the other reptile species found at Corkscrew include: Florida Water Snake, Yellow Rat Snake, Corn Snake, Black Racer, Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (venomous), Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnake (venomous), Cottonmouth (venomous), Striped Mud Turtle, Eastern Mud Turtle, Florida Softshell Turtle, Green Anole, Cuban anole (non-native), Six-lined Racerunner, Southeastern Five-lined Skink, and Eastern Glass Lizard to name just a few.
