Please join professional photographer Mike Matthews on this unique and exciting workshop.
In this workshop, you will learn key tips to take your macro photography to the next level. We will begin in the classroom for a 30 minute discussion before heading outdoors where you will have the opportunity to practice on many natural subjects in a variety of habitats. We will begin walking off of the boardwalk in the pine flatwoods, but will also go onto the boardwalk for part of the time. Please sign up early for this workshop will sell out quickly.
Equipment list for outdoor workshop:
1) Macro lens from 50mm, 100mm up to 180mm will work great.
2) Ring Flash, or Speed-light flashes, (ones that fit in the hot shoe of your camera) can work well if used with some form of a diffuser, such as a Gary Fong, or Rouge light bender.
3.) Point and shoot cameras with a macro setting will also work for this workshop
4) Tripods can be very helpful for this workshop.
5) Extra batteries for flashes are always a good idea.
6.) lensrentals.com is a good source for renting equipment if not wanting to purchase.
